1 Rotisserie Chicken
4 c chicken broth
1 c water
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 T finely chopped fresh ginger
3 sliced carrots
1 tsp Tumeric
1 package Bouquet Garni
1/2 head of cabbage, roughly chopped
2 small leek, cut in 1/2 inch slices
2 medium potato, roughly peeled and chopped into small chunks
2t hot sauce
In a Dutch oven sauté leeks, cabbage, garlic and ginger. Roughly cut up your rotisserie chicken and potatoes and then add them to your Dutch oven. Put in your broth, water and hot sauce, stir till combined. Add your in turmeric and your bouquet garni. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 45 minutes. (Time may very depending on the size of potatoes.)
Served with biscuits.
